In Flight

image from:Aliceinparis

SWALLOWS travel to and fro,

And the great winds come and go,
And the steady breezes blow,
Bearing perfume, bearing love.
Breezes hasten, swallows fly,
Towered clouds forever ply,
And at noonday, you and I
See the same sunshine above.

Dew and rain fall everywhere,
Harvests ripen, flowers are fair,
And the whole round earth is bare
To the moonshine and the sun;
And the live air, fanned with wings,
Bright with breeze and sunshine, brings
Into contact distant things,
And makes all the countries one.

Let us wander where we will,
Something kindred greets us still;
Something seen on vale or hill
Falls familiar on the heart;
So, at scent or sound or sight,
Severed souls by day and night
Tremble with the same delight -
Tremble, half the world apart.

It's Here....

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf's a flower.  Albert Camus

Nokhost Rooz Pawyeez Gerami Bad!!

My most favorite season, Fall/Autumn, has finally arrived.

This year, Autumnal Equinox or first day of start of Fall/Autumn season, falls on September 22.

It is a time of equal light and darkness. Everyone on earth experiences a 12-hour day twice a year on the Spring (Vernal) and Fall (Autumnal) Equinox. These events remind us that we are one planetary family and hopefully, motivate us to live in harmony with all life.

Do you see the fog wrapping the glorious Mount. Lemmon??

Do you see the sun playing hide and seek with the clouds?

...this morning

Happy first day of Fall/Autumn.  May light shine on your path
in the new season.

P.S. Don't forget the Persian Mehregone Festival (Festival of Autumn) on September 25, and 26, if you live in Southern California. For more details click here.
