Ruffled Mother-Earth
Rattles unworried islands
Obliterates lives
Vicious ocean waves
Carry more catastrophes
Jolted Japan aches.
Nuclear dust drifts
Around the panicked planet
Powerless we feel.
Pause, ponder, appraise
Did you hug someone today?
We are butterflies.
