Falling off the cliff of depression -- I tried to kill myself last week (Updated with Thanks)

                              CALM

The word

to me

evokes a sense of

peace, serenity and tranquility.

I want to be done with

panic and chaos and anger and guilt and overreactions.

I don't want there to be a place for such negativity in my life.

Instead,

this year,

I want to find, establish and nuture a calmness within myself

make peace with my heart

and create calm around me.

My instinct is usually the opposite end of the spectrum from calm

but

I figure

that it is time that I changed that.

Sure,

it is not going to be an easy transformation

but

we don't grow if we don't

I was watching an interview with Warren Buffet last night (Buffet is the second richest man in the world). He was asked how he defines success and he said, "If you have loved or love someone and/or you have received love, then you are a success.

 There's nobody I know who commands the love of others who doesn't feel like a success."This reminded me of my favorite verse in the Bible, "Now faith, hope, and love abide, these three: and the greatest of these is Love."
